Drills and Concepts

The following drills are critical to master for any jiu jitsu player. One must be able to quickly and fluidly adjust his body into many awkward positions to prepare for the battle in the guard. An active guard-player draws his power and attacks from the constant movement of his hips and head, so pay close attention to these drills and work them everyday.
